10 Paldean Pokemon you should save your Master Ball in Pokemon GO

Pokemon GO has been on an exciting journey of evolution and expansion over the years, introducing new generations of creatures for you to catch and train. With the recent inclusion of the Paldean species, the game has opened up a whole new realm of possibilities, paving the way for the introduction of more Gen 9 Pokemon in the future.

Some of these newcomers are sure to be extremely rare and powerful, while others will be invaluable for completing your Pokedex. Since you currently only have access to one Master Ball through Timed Investigation, it’s important to think carefully about when to use this valuable item.

Regardless of your path in Pokemon GO, here is a comprehensive list of 10 Paldean Pokemon you might consider using your Master Ball. These creatures will be very rare or have a low chance of being caught.

10 Paldean Encounters Worthy of Your Master Ball in Pokemon GO

1) Armarouge and Ceruledge

The introduction of Charcadet, a fan-favorite Pokemon from the Paldea region of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, into the world of Pokemon GO adds a new layer of complexity to the game. This Fire-type creature is famous for its low spawn rate, making it a rare creature seen even in the main games of the series.

Furthermore, developing Charcadet involves a tedious process of collecting and trading specific items, and this complex journey may mirror the challenges of the main game.

In the mobile version, you can expect the same level of difficulty when encountering and catching Charcadet, and finding a shiny variant will be an even more extraordinary feat. The introduction of potential new evolutionary items adds another dimension to the challenge. So, it could be a fun and challenging adventure when it comes to Charcadet’s evolution in Pokemon GO.

2) Bachcalibur

The tradition of introducing “Pseudo-Legendary” continues with the release of the game Scarlet and Violet. Among these formidable creatures, Baxcalibur quickly emerged as one of the most impressive, mainly thanks to its special attack abilities in battle.

Baxcalibur and its evolution line, including the Ice/Dragon Type, are not commonly found in the wild, and this rarity will most likely extend to the realm of Pokemon GO. Catching a fake Legendary in a mobile game is already a rare feat, but Baxcalibur’s incredibly low 10% catch rate will likely continue to be a challenge in Niantic’s port.

3) Dudunsparce (Three segment form)

This strange addition to Generation 9 fulfilled players’ long-standing desire for an evolution for Generation 2’s Dunsparce. However, this evolution offers more strangeness than power , only adding an extra paragraph and some decorations on Dunsparce’s body.

What complicates the evolution of Dudunsparce is the existence of two variants, of which the three-segmented form is extremely rare (1/100). Another way is to capture Dunsparce, teach it Drill Horn and evolve it, this also has a very small chance. These numbers will definitely translate to Pokemon GO.

4) Maushold (Family of four)

Tandemaus brings a unique twist to Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, as it features the two creatures holding hands. Its evolution, Maushold, builds on this concept by adding one or two smaller mice to the duo. However, it is important to note that one of these Maushold forms is extremely rare compared to the other.

When Tandemau undergoes evolution, there is only a 1 in 100 chance that it will evolve into the highly sought-after Family of Four variant. Bright hunters, in particular, face even lower odds when considering these numbers. It’s safe to assume that the rare Family of Four will also be ported over to Pokemon GO, making it a challenging yet rewarding endeavor for collectors.

5) Paldean Tauros (Blaze and Aqua Breed)

In the Paldea region, Tauros, originally Generation 1 Wild Cows, undergo a fascinating transformation into Paldean Tauros, boasting three distinct forms: Fighting Breed, Blaze Breed, and Aqua Breed.

While the Combat Breed is relatively common and can easily be spotted in flocks across the fields in the area, the version-specific Aqua and Blaze Breed forms are a bit harder to discover.

These rare models will likely be introduced into the world of Pokemon GO, making finding shiny variants of these Tauros an even more difficult task.

Additionally, it is expected that these variants will become location exclusive in the mobile game. This means each location will only have a chance of encountering one of the variants, adding another layer of complexity to the hunt for dedicated trainers.

6) Gholdengo

Getting yourself a Gimmighoul before evolving in Pokemon GO is not easy. First, you need to link your mobile app to your Nintendo Switch. Then there’s the item exchange, followed by the activation of Coin Bags, which act like Incense, attracting Gimmighoul’s elusive Roaming Form to your location.

The complexity increases when it comes to evolution. Like in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, evolving Gimmighoul into Gholdengo in Pokemon GO is a difficult task. You will have to collect up to 999 Gimmighoul coins to perform this evolution. It is a formidable challenge and for those brave enough to chase a shiny Gholdengo, the journey becomes even more difficult.

7) Paradox Pokemon

In the main series, encountering Paradox Pokemon is a perk reserved for the endgame, turning the task of obtaining their form into a truly formidable and rewarding challenge. These forms allow you to delve into the intricacies of time travel, where famous recurring creatures of the past and future mysteriously find their way into the Paldea region.

Armed with impressive stats, these creatures prove to be a significant challenge to capture, a difficulty that could be reflected in Pokemon GO, preserving their rarity and making them a hit. A sought after addition to any coach’s collection.

8) Four treasures were destroyed

With each new installment in the franchise’s main series, you’re introduced to a host of new legendary and mythological characters. In the world of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, a quartet of unique mystical Pokemon known as The Treasures of Ruin await those brave enough to challenge them.

This group of Shadows is known for its elusive nature, boasting a catch rate of just six in the main games, and it’s safe to hope that this challenge will be ported over to Pokemon GO.

9) Koraidon

Koraidon is a legendary creature exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet, the incarnation of the mysterious Paradox Deity form of the past. This extraordinary pocket monster is a Fighting/Dragon dual form, with the remarkable ability to split the ground with his bare fists.

With a catch rate of just 3 in the main game, it’s highly likely that this rare item will transition seamlessly to Pokemon GO, possibly making it a formidable contender for 5-star raids. After all, as a legendary variant, Koraidon is expected to provide a challenging and thrilling encounter for trainers.

10) Miraidon

Miraidon takes center stage as a Legendary exclusive to Pokemon Violet, the embodiment of the mysterious god of paradox from the future. This extraordinary Iron Serpent boasts two Electric/Dragon types, with the notable ability to turn the ground to ash with its lightning bolts.

Just like Koraidon, it has a catch rate of just 3 in the main game. It’s very likely that this rarity will carry over directly to Pokemon GO. Since it’s a Legendary creature, it’s also likely to be a formidable candidate for 5-star raids.
