OTTAWA, Sept. 7, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Today, CIRA announced the launch What’s wrong with the Internet? a compelling new podcast series examining the good, the bad, and the ugly that make up one of the world’s most important resources—the Internet. Hosted by award-winning Canadian journalist Takara Small, CIRA’s What’s wrong with the Internet? The podcast will explore today’s most pressing internet issues, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, smart technology or virtual reality—and give listeners insight into technological challenges they pose and, more importantly, the solutions.
In its first season, CIRA will address the state of Canada’s broadband by exploring pressing internet topics including affordability, online accessibility, safety and more over six practice. Introducing little Takara
Takara Small is a Canadian journalist and radio host. She is a radio columnist for CBC (Canada’s public broadcaster), radio contributor for BBC Radio and anchor at 680 News. Additionally, she was named one of Canada’s 100 most powerful women for her contributions to media and was recently named a Young Leaders of America Fellow.
