Waiting is the hardest part and timing your purchase can be difficult. There’s no official schedule for when Apple will add devices to its official refurbished store, but I’ve seen new inventory gradually decrease from the day the devices are announced until they officially go on sale. go out.

So if you want to get the best Apple hardware for your money, you’ll want to start checking the store page right after the event (around 3 p.m. PT) and then check back again. daily for a week.

What if you’re not interested and want to buy right away?

If you don’t want to play the waiting game with Apple, major retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and Amazon are offering deep discounts on their current inventory. Some discounts can be up to 50%. That means they’ll drop that price even more once the new phones and watches are announced. Waiting just two days could save you hundreds of extra dollars.

What if you want a new iPhone 15 or Apple Watch?

You’ll have to wait, but there will be a certain amount of time in which you can pre-order Apple’s new hardware. Pre-orders will begin on Friday. If you participate in the iPhone Upgrade Program, you’ll be able to reserve your iPhone starting as soon as Tuesday (more information on that soon).

If you want the new iPhone 15 Pro Max, you need to make sure you get your pre-order as soon as possible. Rumor has it that it will have minimal inventory at launch due to component shortages.
