September brings new titles to the Playstation VR 2, along with the following VR games to look forward to this month.
The following titles are listed chronologically by release date.
Toss!
After an emergency landing, you find yourself on a cloudy planet. In search of spare parts for your spaceship, climb, swing and swing through 9 cloud biomes and 75 levels. Achievements, time trials, modifiers, and multiplayer modes add challenge and variety.
Toss! will be released on September 7 for Playstation VR 2, Meta Quest and SteamVR.
Pixel Ripped 1995
You travel back to the 16-bit era and take on the role of young David, who does nothing but sit in front of the TV and play on the SNES all day, much to his mother’s chagrin.
But there’s more at stake than a mother’s mental health: video game villain Cyblin Lord wants to take over the real world once again, blurring the lines between video games and reality.
Pixel Ripped 1995 will be released on September 12 and is an enhanced version of the original PC VR from 2020.
Target
The Counter-Strike-inspired tactical shooter will face off against the top dog Pavlov of the genre this month.
Alvo promises a tactical gaming experience with a variety of modes: from free for all to team deathmatch to seek and destroy. The difficulty level is said to appeal to both beginners and professional players. In online multiplayer, cross-platform 5v5 matches are supported.
Alvo will be released on September 14.
Behind the frame
The atmospheric “draw and click adventure” combines puzzles with an emotional story and lets you draw your own VR artwork. If you’re looking for a VR experience that takes you away from the action and simulation, Behind The Frame VR might just be what you’re looking for.
Behind the Frame will be released on September 14 for Playstation VR 2, Meta Quest and SteamVR.
Viewers
Gazzlers are Mad Max but cute. On your way to the temple of the machine god, you will be chased through the desert by hordes of screaming creatures and you will have to blow them up to reach the kingdom. As the game progresses, you will collect “scrap” and upgrade your skills. A rich arsenal of weapons, various modifiers and roguelite elements will provide constant excitement and variety.
Gazzlers will be released on September 14 for Playstation VR 2, Meta Quest and SteamVR.
Broken edge
Broken is a tactical swordplay game for online duels. You can choose from different historically inspired classes, each with their own fighting style, such as Samurai, Swordsman, Knight, and Barbarian.
The game, now available on other platforms, has been optimized for PSVR 2 and supports Sense controller adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and eye tracking.
Broken Edge will be released for Playstation VR 2 on September 19.
Ruinsmagus: Done
After releasing for Meta Quest and PC VR last year, the fictional JRPG Ruinsmagus is coming to PSVR 2. The Complete Edition includes the main game, The Warrior and the Tailor DLC, and the Remix Update. Hardware upgrades such as the headset’s haptic feedback, adaptive trigger support, and 3D audio have also been added.
Ruinsmagus: Complete will be released for PSVR 2 on September 19.
Hellsweeper VR
Hellsweeper is a hack and slash game with roguelike elements and promises a wide variety of weapons and enemies as well as a fast-paced dynamic combination of wall running, power slides and upside down.
Hellsweeper will be released on September 21 for Playstation VR 2, Meta Quest and SteamVR.
Advanced version of Paper Beast
Paper Beast transports you into a surreal world of deserts, colorful clouds, crystals, and strange paper creatures as you traverse the wasteland. As you help the creatures, new paths will open. Game mechanics and puzzles are always discreet and fit naturally into the game world. The physics system that realistically simulates elements such as sand and water is also very special.
Paper Beast Enhance Edition is a graphically enhanced version of the original PC VR and PSVR 1 from 2020 and will be released for the Playstation VR 2 on October 1, 2020. September 27.
